Founded in 2012 by Shannon Levitt and her family at our flagship Richmond location on Broadway Street, Broadway was created with a clear purpose: to provide children with exceptional arts education in a place where every student can shine. Our name reflects our roots—and our passion for performance, creativity, and excellence.

Guided by our core belief in “doing what’s right for kids,” we’ve built a school where students grow as dancers and as people. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered.

We hire only the best dance educators—instructors with extensive professional experience, degrees in education, and advanced dance training. Many of our teachers work in schools during the day and bring that same heart and dedication to our dance studios at night. We are lifelong learners ourselves, engaging in ongoing professional development through summer intensives and online coursework throughout the year.

Our commitment to excellence doesn’t stop at the classroom door. We actively collaborate with the broader dance community to provide our students with real-world, professional experiences. For over a decade, we’ve partnered with Chicago Music Dance International to give our dancers access to world-class classical ballet performances and training. Through our ongoing relationship with the Milwaukee Bucks Production Team, our students have the unique opportunity to perform at halftime during NBA games—an experience that inspires confidence, poise, and passion.

For our competitive dancers, we go even further—hiring some of the top choreographers in the industry to ensure our teams receive not only cutting-edge choreography but also meaningful personal and artistic growth. Our goal is to help every dancer find success, whether on the competitive stage or in their own personal journey.

From our home in Lake Geneva and its surrounding areas to the extended family we've created in our studios, community is everything to us.
